Known for their dry spiced, flame grilled Mexican chicken, oversized burgers and flavoursome meals, Mochachos provide a well-balanced meal that’s lower in fat and high in protein, without compromising on taste. We were engaged by Mochachos to transition their print/static menu boards into digital signage, cutting down on printing costs, and making it easier to change and update menu items.


Mochachos’ original menu was complex and overwhelming. In transitioning to a digital design, we needed to create a layout that included imagery for every menu item, while incorporating a clear hierarchy that ensured the menu would be easy to read from a distance.

We worked with the executive team at Mochachos to achieve this by offering a variety of layout options that utilised rotating product imagery to save on limited space. We were even able to incorporate a small promotional section to up-sell and educate customers.

Our Solution

Mochachos stores are often located in busy food courts with unnatural lighting and reflective surfaces. We chose to use 55” Philips P-Line Signage Displays with 700 nit brightness and anti-glare coating to achieve excellent visibility from all angles and distances.

We used Vogels’ modular menu board bar mounting system for ease of use, safety, and ongoing servicing. BrightSign media players were used for their reliability and simplicity.
