The City of Canning is based in the southeastern suburbs of the Western Australian capital city of Perth, about 10 kilometres southeast of Perth’s central business district. The City covers an area of 64.8 square kilometres and with a population of approximately 90,000, is fast becoming an influential council recognised for continual growth and diversity.

Challenges
Amped Digital was asked to assist with the installation of multiple digital signage screens and video walls in various leisure centres throughout the City of Canning. The displays would replace existing static signage, aiming to increase brand awareness and sales, while allowing for quick, easy and cost-effective content updates.
We were tasked with finding the most impactful areas to capture and engage patrons, while ensuring each display was situated safely to prevent damage to hardware in busy spaces.
Our Solution
Our team delivered a complete solution, including power and data services across the multi-site complex. Static signage was replaced in high foot traffic areas, allowing for increased awareness of upcoming events, safety procedures and social education.
We trained the City of Canning team to use the Signagelive content management platform, allowing them to maintain their new signage network with quick, easy and cost-effective content updates.
