Batter Up is a Fish & Chips store located on the Sorrento Quay Boardwalk at Hillary’s Boat Harbour. They provide excellent service, beautiful soft fish and crispy tasty chips. We were contracted by Batter Up to help install and create content for three digital menu boards in their new store.
The content needed to be engaging in order to stand out and draw in customers in a busy, family-oriented area that is saturated with food outlets. The previous design of the menu was out-dated and required a lot of work to change. We also needed to create a menu design that would allow us to highlight core packages and meal deals, while still allowing room for sides and extras.
We used 3 x 49” Philips P-Line displays with a 700 nit brightness level to stand out and capture the attention of potential customers walking by the store. We used a Vogels Menu Board Mounting System for safety and aesthetics, along with BrightSign media players for reliability and synchronisation of the three displays.
